great summer light when you need to keep the heat down. My plants love it during veg. Keeps the power bills low. My girlfriends love it!

This sunblaster bulb works great for me to grow in the winter indoors. I have all my fresh herbs, like lavender, chives, basil, oregano, garlic and ginger, its great growing all winter long in the house. Picking fresh herbs all winter long gives me the pleasure of gardening all year around, its great!! The bulb even gives enough light to grow small flowers, indoors too all winter, african violet type flowers and stuff like that, I even have my bamboo plant under the light, and is doing fantastic. The light is in a stand that houses the bulb and with a shade, with adjustable heights for the light, I think I paid around 125.00 for the whole unit including the bulb. Great little investment for the winter gardener!!
