1000W core and coil ballast will operate MH or HPS lamps. This two in one ballast can be switched from MH to HPS with a flick of the switch (Please read warnings). Utilizing only one transformer, starter and capacitor.

Heavy duty gear box is made from sheet metal that is powder coated for protection in moist and humid environments. Convenient carry handle also has key holes cut into it so you can mount and secure the ballast box in a safe location. This box also has rubber feet (if you are placing it on the floor) which will reduce vibration transfer. Special heat fins will allow heat to escape the gear box to keep your ballast running cool.

Included with the ballast is a 6’ power cord and a 12 gauge 18’ lamp cord with a wired 5KV mogul socket ready to go, just plug and play.

Using 240V? No problem, just flip the protective plate to the 240V position and use the same power cord to connect your ballast to an outlet. No need to purchase a special 240V power cord.

This completely assembled kit is made with high temperature components that will shut down if the temperature exceeds the ballasts recommendation. Good insurance for piece of mind.
