D1008 1/2 HP SOLID STATE DRIVE OPERATION

The D1008 Solid State Drive is an electronic switch which allows the user to repetitively turn on and off any 120 VAC load device rated at up to 10 Amps or 1/2 Hp by applying an AC or DC low voltage supply to the input connector.

Installation:

To install the unit, simply plug the D1008 into a standard 120 volt wall outlet, and plug the load device you wish to switch into the socket on the front of the D1015. The unit must be mounted vertically as when plugged into a wall socket to ensure proper cooling of the unit. At full load, the heatsink fins can become quite warm.
Connect the input connector on the bottom of the D1008 to the device being used to control the load such as an output of the ST1004 Sequence Controller. If some other control device is use, this must supply between 6-28 volts DC or AC. A switch in series with a CLASS 2 type AC Adapter use for calculators can be use.
DO NOT CONNECT THE INPUT TO TIMERS OR SWITCHES WHICH SUPPLY 120VAC FROM THE WALL SOCKET OR THE UNIT WILL BE DAMAGED.

Line Voltage - 120 VAC at 15 amps maximum, resistive or inductive load

Low Voltage Input - 6 to 24 VAC at 6 to 15 ma.

This unit works great, and is reasonably priced. The selling feature of this driver over the others was the manufacturers warranty. I really like a product that the manufacturer stands behind.
