This growing medium is a different product, but it seems to work great. Holding moisture longer than the traditional rockwool. Like I said, different. A stronger product that holds up seedlings when they are weak. I like it because it is a natural product, obviously from coconuts. Adding it to soilless {pro mix or similar} gives texture and strength. When broken up it expands to an abundance of coconut fibers. Adding some nutrients and strength, with the natural fibers from coconut just seems like the right thing to do. It works for me
